Jim Thomas was recently the Vice President of International Sales at Mate Precision Tooling.  During Jim's tenure at Mate, International Sales grew to 55% of the company overall sales from the 45% when he began.  Mate sales offices were started in Mexico, China, India, Turkey, Czech Republic, and Brazil.  Direct sales were begun in Mexico in 2009 and reached $4M in four years.  Dealer business agreements were put in place and changes made in some countries to multi-channel dealerships.  Dealer sales incentive programs, product training and area sales meetings were organized under his watch.  While President, Colder Products Company International Jim Thomas was responsible for CPC's international operations and sales since 1998.  During his tenure, international sales have increased from $2M to $15M and from 11% to 30% of overall revenues.  Jim successfully opened sales offices in Belgium, Japan, Holland and Hong Kong, while enhancing CPC's direct sales force and distributor representatives in Europe, Asia, Latin America and Israel.   

Jim has diverse experience in business and international sales, including product marketing and development, supply chain management, and finance.   Jim has and is running his own business, providing business consulting for foreign and domestic companies seeking to expand their international business. Typical problems solved would include: initiating business development in overseas markets, increasing sales in high potential problem markets and building and coaching remotely located overseas personnel.
