![]() My Dad kept a journal every day. He started with his journal, kept notes on 3x5 index cards and transferred them to his journal every day-for 90 years. He never spoke about it-he only recorded it. We chuckle when we think about all those trees which were felled for index cards-my Dad was a paper chemist. I am no better. I still keep a manual DayTimer, but don’t journal. My kids tease me about my DayTimer, but there will be no legacy I will leave my kids on YouTube. They call me “Old School”-I like that! My kids have been home for the holidays, but it all ends today. The circus resumes tomorrow. If they haven’t done so it is a fresh start and a great chance to reflect and plan.
